Membership renewal meetings at the Bridge Inn 2019

Come along to the Bridge Inn, Duffield and renew your membership with the DAF.

Meet members of the committee who will be available to discuss any queries you may have with regard to the Federation.

  • 28th May 6-8pm
  • 10th June 6-9pm

The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) are changing in May this year and we need to inform our members how this affects their relationship with us in regard to the data we collect from them and keep in order to run the Federation in a proper manner. We commit to:

  • ensure it is relevant and up to date;
  • only hold as much as you need, and only for as long as you need it; and
  • allow the subject of the information to see it on request.

Gary Wilton special

Gary fished Burley Bend and caught a 15-02 beauty . This fish capped a run of big fish for him spread all over the river .

 

Winter League Dates

Oct 25 – 31.  Nov 15 – 22.  Dec  13 – 20.  Jan  3 – 17.  Feb 14 – 28.

Derbyshire Angling Federation Win Division Two National.

D.A.F. fished the Division Two National on Sat 12 Sept on the non-tidal River Trent .

A brilliant  performance saw them win by the narrowest of margins tying on 224 points with Scunthorpe tackle. The team consisting of  Steve Renshaw, Lee Richmond, Richard Wood, John Urrity, Andy Starkey, Clive Fletcher, Mark Perkins, Colin Walton, Anthony King and Wayne Bartholomew.

We had 4 anglers in the first 15 places. There were some great performances topped by Individual winner Mark Perkins with almost 16 kilos  . His catch made up of 10 barble and 1 chub.

 

Les Reece Memorial 

25 anglers fished our much missed mate’s memorial match.

Lee Davis led the way with a superb weight of 37-10 . His catch consisted of 5 barbel and 4 chub. He fished peg 20 turf side . Second place went to Tony Groom with 16-10 of chub on peg 17 Bridge Inn. Third place was Joe Appleby with 9-06 on peg 6 Playing Field, 1 chub and greyling.

Thanks to all anglers who took part we raised £200 for the RNLI   Special thanks to Bridge Inn for donating breakfast monies . Thanks Darren and Mary.
